Single chord vamp

Based off something Reg said recently, I realised it might be a smart idea to try and improvise over a single chord before expecting genius to emerge over changes . Today's chord was C7. Apologies for the audio glitches. I've got a new computer and I think I need to download even more software to get everything working properly.

Absolutely. My 3 step program to working up technical skills is:

1. A single chord.
2. A simple chord progression like 1, 6, 2, 5 or 2, 5, 1, 1 etc.
3. Jazz blues.
4. Then take it to a tune.
