Hi everyone, although I love traditional picking, having studied classical guitar since I was a child, over the years I have ended up gravitating more and more towards hybrid picking, that is pick between thumb and index and the other three fingers to play the remaining chord voices.

However, as natural as it is to me, this technique can present some problems, such as using pinky to play the top note of the chords, which is then sometimes covered by the other voices.

I'm looking for examples of jazz guitarists, traditional or modern, who prefer hybrid picking. While I am sure there are many, at the moment I can only think of Chuck Wayne and Ed Bickert or Pasquale Grasso and Yotam Silberstein. Any other ideas?

Though I'm certain he wouldn't call himself a "jazz player," Duke Levine can and does play what most of us call "jazz" at times (and extremely well); he doesn't use hybrid picking all the time, but he's very skilled at it.

Thanks, I'll definitively check both of them.
