I dig it. Good exercise plus it's musical! Natural minor gets neglected in jazz for some reason. It's an important scale. Gonna start doing your concept of practicing my scales in riff form.

I have a DA 1000 reissue mounted on my Godin 5th Avenue acoustic. Martin Retro Monel strings sound a little more balanced and powerful than 80/20 bronze strings on that guitar, but I like the...

Thanks for the description and analysis of the Eastman T146. It makes intuitive sense that the bridge pickup has more effect on the top's responsiveness. The Eastman AR503 and AR580 each have a...

An Eastman T145 or T146 is generally pretty loud. The one I owned was louder than my flat-top acoustics. At 1.75" deep they don't have the bass or complex overtones of a full-depth model, but they...

Man, that one sounds good just looking at it! I've got a sweet spot for those 80s mahogany back & sides models. I think I'd go that way if I ever get a 175. Long may she run!

That gold one was from Retrofret. They listed it a couple months ago and stated that the plating was original.
