I just wander. When you are doing those, how aware are you about the recording setup. Does it bother you or you don't care?
-
Mark has posted his recording setup previously. My assumption is that he's still using the same. He sounds much better recorded than 90+% of folks on Youtube doing their own stuff.

EDIT: At least for me it would not hurt to integrate that more into daily life.

But you seem completely unbothered

One of the points of music, after all, is to communicate with others. When I read interviews with people whom I consider master musicians, one of the things they frequently talk about, is the importance of communicating and connecting with the audience. I have always found myself inhibited in that regard and I still feel tight and anxious when someone is listening. Of course, there are hardly any jazz gigs around here to play, anyway, so it might be a moot point. However, I should try setting up a recording rig at home and playing into that; maybe it'll help me get over it.
