Before you get out the soldering island and add the capacitor to your input,go to Radio Shack and search for "Choke." One of these might do the trick.

Wow, that brings back an eerie memory. In the 1970's I had a toy helicopter that flew on a wire. Made little helicopter sounds through a speaker as it flew in circles. It would also pick up radio signals late at night when the sky was clear.
You could imaging my reaction.... To hear voices coming from under your bed at night, that freaks out a 6 year old. I wouldn't sleep in that room for a month!
