I normally play TI flats on a 24.75 scale jazz box
I've got hold of a Strat style Yamaha 25.5 scale
Any suggestions for some nickel flat wounds
that I can do a few bends on
maybe TI jazz flats in 11 or 12 gauge ?
Something else ....
I want nickel and flat I wanna play some jazz on it too
I'm quite heavy handed ....
Thanks all

You can setup even the heaviest flatwounds on a solidbody and its neck if that's what you're asking; just find what you like. Though I'm not into flats, I play .013 - .054 Rotosound roundwounds in standard tuning on all my solidbodies. Rotosound Top Tape flatwounds are fine strings as well, they only come in .012 - .052, so maybe give it a try if that size suits you.

I use .09's on my solid body guitars. I used to have .12's but the heavier gauges are too boomy and muddy on the low notes.

I use Pyramid Gold 11-48 flatwound strings on two solid bodies.
25 1/2 scale length.

I put TI flat 12's on my Pacifica
It's a low end Pacifica and doesn't have locking tuners ....I
BTW still find it too bright for me
and I can't play it in tune , so it has to go ....
