The headstock is different from a lot of the other Rex's out there but it could be original, there was a lot of variety in the production of German guitars from this period, different details, hardware etc.

    SS,

Those DA's are so nice.. Here's some old stuff I had laying around...

L-R... 46 L50, 51 L7C, 41 Kay Cello, 51 L4CN and 46 L7...the last 3 Gibson's have been lovingly brought back to life by Fran Ford's crew at Gryphon (shoutout to Brian who indeed performs miracles the L50 is next)... Kamimoto-san got my old Kay humming if it weren't for fantastic local repair talent these would be wall-art, but now they all play/sound/feel like exquisite musical instruments.

Do not miss the guitar close ups at the end :-)

The Levin is over her 75th birthday, suffered seven cracks during his lifetime, but my trusted luthier miraleously repaired. The bridge is not original. The Kay is probably a few years younger, after war few
    years.

Sorry, I missed these... yes, it's a custom ordered ES-330 kit from CNC-manufacturer Bian Xuebin. I did a whole topic on it: DIY ES-330/Casino kit guitar

Here’s my ‘64 L5. Got it for a super deal just before the recent insane increase in vintage prices. Super grateful every day for this beauty.

This ES-330TD was under my dad’s bed from about 1970 till he passed and I inherited it in ‘89. By serial number, it’s either a 64 or 67. Knowing the history, I think 67 is more likely

yeah that’s definitely a ‘67 judging by the shape of the ears.

Recently acquired 1953 ES-175. All original, I am told.
