The headstock is different from a lot of the other Rex's out there but it could be original, there was a lot of variety in the production of German guitars from this period, different details, hardware etc.

SS,
Those DA's are so nice.. Here's some old stuff I had laying around...
L-R... 46 L50, 51 L7C, 41 Kay Cello, 51 L4CN and 46 L7...the last 3 Gibson's have been lovingly brought back to life by Fran Ford's crew at Gryphon (shoutout to Brian who indeed performs miracles the L50 is next)... Kamimoto-san got my old Kay humming if it weren't for fantastic local repair talent these would be wall-art, but now they all play/sound/feel like exquisite musical instruments.

Added a Super 400 since I posted way back on page 2, so here are my 50s blonde Gibsons again.

Here’s my ‘64 L5. Got it for a super deal just before the recent insane increase in vintage prices. Super grateful every day for this beauty.

Had to pop this open last night.
5f10, my favorite amp.

This ES-330TD was under my dad’s bed from about 1970 till he passed and I inherited it in ‘89. By serial number, it’s either a 64 or 67. Knowing the history, I think 67 is more likely
