I look forward to seeing this box sitting in a row on the rack with its siblings as it progresses to completion. Those photos are always fun for what they reveal.

Big wow factor when he gets some lacquer on that quilted maple.

A Cameo is a wise investment. Trust me when Mark stops making guitars Campellone values will skyrocket just like Gibson archtops did.

    Lovely stuff, indeed.
Although there's something to be said for the classics as well.

That’s beautiful. I really like those tuner buttons. I have gold Grover Imperial buttons on my Special, but after seeing your picture, I am thinking of ordering a set of MOP buttons.

any of you folks reading this thread eho haven’t played or owned s Campellone they truly are the very best, better than any Gibson I’ve ever played
the only thing I would compare them to is equal or my Unitys

that’s mighty pretty work he’s doing there and that’s the cream of the crop as far as his guitar‘s go

Mark told me the rear headstock binding is a nightmare to do. No easy way to do it.
He would like to see how Gibson does it on the Citation.
I told him since they no longer make Citations they will probably have to relearn from you.
Don’t know how many of those good Crimson guys they kept on after the bankruptcy.

    Vinny,

I'd love to wake up and find that one of Mark's 'Nightmares' in my closet!

'But it haunts me, and it won't come true'

    Woah!

    Darn

Most of the headstock binding, while tedious, is rather straightforward. But binding that volute is something I wouldn't even think about attempting.
