    It really looks flat. Much too flat for my taste. My 1935 super 400 has 7. All the old vintage Gibson Archtops have a similar radius. I really like it but everything up to 12 is fine to me. I have owned a godin 5th avenue with 14 which i really could not get used to.
    maybe you can get a 12 on the existing fingerboard? I would also put bigger frets on it. That s what i did on mine.

    You have enough meat to get back your radius.
    At least take it to Frank Ford. His advice is as honest as you can get.
    His expert advice is what you should take.
    He is not in this game to make a buck.
    If it isn’t right he won’t do it.
    Frank Ford does my buddy Tuck’s L5’s frets yearly. His fretboards are so thin that his side dots are half moons.
    Tuck can eat up a fret job in a year and he uses jumbos.
