Newer McCarty pickup assemblies?

I didn't know Gibson had issued any of these after the initial period. I wonder if the pickup is the same.

Yeah, I kinda misread the wording, assumed he was implying it came from Gibson. Probably not. I would think though that the pickup maker should be indicated in the ad.

That does look like someone's modern repro.....

I see adjustable pole screws which the originals did not have and the pot positions are not quite the same.

I like how the pickups on my originals sound, but to use them one often has a lot of warped or deteriorating laminated celluloid to straighten and fussing with the mounting to get everything just right.

Requires some patience for sure....
