Yay! They should tap some of the old archtop builders to be a part of that company, some Westerly RI talent or likewise. Hope they continue to do well, and I hope they come to their senses and raise the quality of their low end guitars. I've worked on too many of those outsourced disasters to forgive them that stain on their reputation.

Seen a video with Andy Powers, Taylor chief luthier, showing off the archtop he built in college and played for years in local bands. So there is hope. I have zero interest in the T3 or T5 Taylor seems to think is an archtop.

Employee ownership is an interesting concept. It's not anarcho-socialist as the company is still privately owned. it's not anarcho-capitalist as the workers own the company which is although not inconsistent with capitalism, it's far from being a goal in that ideology.
It's more like anarcho-pragmatist.
