Hi Kirk ,
Thank you for your reply.
I already have an Alhambra P8 beautiful sound , if only it had a CW So that I could reach the 16th fret.
I am at the moment learning to play Billies Bounce using my Gibson J35..because at least it's a bit easier to get some high fret access..still difficult.
The sound is also just not suited to this music .
Though maybe a nylon string CW is my best option .
I will take a look at Yahama .

A couple of clinics with Paul Meyers convinced me I should get a nylon string. This recording doesn’t do his tone justice. In person it’s great. But he amplifies it even in a small room.

Just wonderful Kirk !
I too have seen some amazing clips this morning .
I have since then found a couple of nylon /electric guitars here..a bit over budget but are recommended for Jazz.
Takamine TS132SC
And Takamine TC 135SC Axe ..this looks great ( though even more over budget..) .
I really like the look of the Cordoba one though and it's about the same price as the cheaper ( or rather not as expensive Takamine.
Saw a great video jazz , one on a Cordoba classic and the other on Gibson Es 175 ..beautiful .
Charlie Byrd on nylon ..just wow !!!
Used Henriksen or Mambo amp
