Hello. Anyone with experience with Bourgeois archtops? Mostly known for flat tops, so I am wondering if his archtops would have a very good acoustic quality?

I've played three of them and they were all excellent acoustic archtops.
I wonder if Eastman will want to re-introduce these.
Nah....

The model that interests me is the A-350, with a floating (I think), Armstrong humbucker. Not designed to be an acoustic only guitar, but I would only be interested if it was great acoustically.
Is this near the type you refer to?

I've played the A-350 and the A-500 - just different levels of fancy. Yes, this is the type I refered to in my previous post. One of the members here, 2bornot2bop, owned one for awhile. Perhaps he'll offer his perspective as well.

Yes, I found the A-350 to be the cats meow of guitars. The guitar was exceptionally well built. Electronically superb with a genuine KA pup. Acoustically superior to many other guitars I owned at the time. The guitar is a keeper especially if found for under $3500 nowadays.

I want a 17" cutaway archtop with really good acoustic tone with flats. Just to play at home, the kind of deal where if it's amplified, the amp is only ever about as loud as the guitar itself. For ballads only pretty much. I see one advertised but it's too far to check out in person and the asking price is unrealistic imo.

To me, there is no such thing as good acoustic tone with flats. But that's why they make roundwound strings for the rest of us.

Gryphon has a really nice one. Flame Monster.

Wow, that is flamed, but I need a cutaway. Actually that's the only noncut Bourg I have seen.
Also, I have seen an advert for an A-350 with a KA floater AND, a K&K contact pickup.
I wonder if the K&K is an add on or if Dana made some this way, and if so, how he dealt with the dual outputs.
