How many amps do you own?
And how many of those do you use regularly?
I've got five:
- Fender Hot Rod Deluxe GB
- Roland JC-120
- Roland Cube 80x
- Vox AC30
- DV Mark Little Jazz
I'm going to sell most of them and get a Fender Twin Reverb or a Fender Tone Master Twin.
Keeping the Little Jazz as a practice amp...

I also own five, which is too many, but selling probably wouldn't bring in enough money to be worth the effort.
Fender Vibrolux Reverb, silverface from the early '80s
AI Clarus, old Series 1
GK MB200
DV Mark Little Jazz
Peavey Rage150
I've given the Peavey to my son for a practice amp. It's old, and its primary asset is that it was cheap. I mostly alternate between the Clarus and MB200 at home, and the Little Jazz when away, because it's so portable. I don't play through the Fender often, because everything else sounds better to me. Well, not all, it does sound better than the little Peavey.
-
1) Fender Twin Reverb '65 RI
2) Mesa/Boogie Lone Star
3) JazzKat
I have many different guitars (and guitar configurations), and these amps handle them all really well.
I recently sold a Marshall JCM 2000 TSL 100 - just not for me...
Next target - I think - an AER Compact 60.
Well: this is my first post - IIRC - after years of mere lurking. Great forum, full of interesting and competent people.
I hope to contribute something back, in a way or another...

Henriksen The BUD
Evans RE 200
AER Acousticube
Juke CODA
GLS GIG-50
-
I have 6 (which admittedly is more than I need)
Henriksen Blu
AER Compact 60
1964 Fender Princeton (non reverb with a JBL D-110F speaker)
1988 Mesa .50 Caliber
Acoustic Image Clarus (Series 4 plus)
Polytone Mini-Brain reissue
I have three extended range Raezer's Edge cabinets (two of which were made by Rich himself) that I use with the heads or as an extension cabinet with the Blu. (They are a Stealth 12ER, Stealth 10ER and a NY-8ER)
-
I use two regularly. Little Jazz and a Roland JC-55.
I also have a Roland KB-150 - kb amp, but I've played some gigs with it. For some reason, they don't cost much and they can be handy to have around.
-
Laney VC30
AER Compact 60
Tech 21 Flyrig
Did put the Laney up for sale but it's old and the offers were nowhere near enough to warrant selling it. I'll probably still use it at gigs in the future anyway. The other two get used a lot out, and at home.

I have one guitar amp, Fender Princeton reverb. I don't really need anything else, but either tonemaster would be nice add. I just don't have the space
-
Only one... a Henriksen Blu.

Quilter OD200 head and Pure 64 1x12 cabinet

Fender Princeton Reverb II, which I use every day. I too do not have enough space for another.
-
Mesa Boogie Mark IV
Vox AC15
Boss Katana 100w Head and 2x12
Quilter Pro Block 200
Quilter Tone Block 202 and 12HD speaker
Roland Blues Cube Artist (with UBTC)

Of all of these, favorite for humbucker guitars: Katana; favorite for single-coils: Tone Block 202.

Between my wife and myself, 10. (Heads and combos, not counting several speaker cabs.) Too many, would really like to pare it down a bit.
-
A Fender Blues Deville with 4 10's
An old Peavey solid state with an 8" speaker
a Gallien Krueger 150
and a tiny Dan Electro amp
I'm looking at getting a Boss Katana 50 to mess around with and use when I don't feel like lugging the Fender around.

I own three amps: I mostly use the two solid state amps when playing straight ahead solo jazz. The AI + Chameleon when using a guitar with a KA HB + Barbera because I use both amp channels and a the HF driver in the Chameleon. The Evans is just a great sounding, light weight, grab and go combo for clean straight-ahead jazz. I use the Redplate for playing blues and rock where both clean and overdriven sounds is called for.
Solid State Amps:
1) Acoustic Image Clarus 2R Series III Head + Buscarino 1x8” Chameleon Speaker Cabinet
2) Evans RE 200 1x10” Combo Amp
Tube Amp:
3) Redplate RP40 40w, 6L6, Tweed/Blackface 1x12” Combo Amp

Early 2000s red stripe Transtube Peavey Studio Pro 112 (65 watt amp)
Fishman Loudbox Mini Charge (60 watt acoustic guitar amp with a built-in battery pack - it's been very handy for the weekend church band gig I do).Last edited by EllenGtrGrl; 12-24-2019 at 09:45 AM.

The Henriksen Blu has become my favorite jazz guitar amp (for both floating and built in pickup guitars) and would be my last amp if I were to go down to just one. That said, I would still also want to have a tube amp for playing rock and blues with my solid body guitars.
And if I continue to play big venues, I need an extension cabinet for the Blu (any of my Raezer's Edge cabinets would do). Guys who do not play out, or only play in small venues can do just fine with the Blu.

I count 15 presently. The Mesa Trem-o-Verb is the only one I ever bought new from a store. The others were gifts, or repair projects used or amps I built.
