Yes, that's my intention. The Chromes wouldn't go dead. The Bensons sound orders of magnitude better. Not quite as smooth, though,

In recent years I have tried D'addario, TI, SIT, Pyramid, GHS, and La Bella Jazz Flats. The La Bella Jazz flats to me were the deadest sounding to me out of the package with the largest diameter strings sounding the deadest.
