Beautiful guitar and I notice the volute on the headstock. My Excalibur has the same basic type volute on the back too maybe not raised as much. Is this an 18 or 19 inch body?

Very tasteful hybrid of Gibson and D’Angelico aesthetics. There’s nothing like this out there to my knowledge. Congrats on a truly unique gem.

Thanks Rob.......Your opinion on Frans work early this year played a major role in convincing me to go ahead with this project.
We are currently trying organise someone to take it for a test drive and video it before Frans ships it Australia so we can all hear how the "single diagonal brace" sounds?

    Keep you posted.......

The specs and shape were taken from a 1946 Stromberg Master 400 Cutaway which were 18.25 instead of 19.25 as the Master 400 non cutaway's were.

Frans non cutaway "Elferink Stromberg" is named 1925 so we decided to name this Elferink Stromberg" 1825....
