    Why would a capo's utility be country-specific?

    1) It's a @@$%@ capo. 2) $128.06 in shipping for said 3 oz. item seems a bit... steep.
    Best regards, k

Ok but you both fail because the first two sentences of the description say

"Please note that shipping costs outside the UK are very approximate and can vary radically. Please contact us with your Country and Post/Zip Code for an accurate quote. "

$128.06 seems like a pretty specific number, not a rough/average/estimate.

If you look at ebay or other sites that sell internationally, you'll often see the same thing. The shipping companies provide the estimates, and they give specific numbers, for reasons I've never understood. It's a product of the digital age, I suppose.

My guess is that he put £100 as a rough estimate and reverb converts it to dollars using an internal exchange rate.

Yes. Barry Harris never needed a capo.

At that fee you could ship Barry Harris to fret behind your chord for you.

If I can ship Barry Harris I let him play bebop scales for me, I don't need a capo.

True, but I might like to brag "Barry Harris was my capo."

Pupil: Master, why don't I make progress?
Master: Did you read the "Improvisation" board on the forum?
    P.: Yes master!
M.: And the "From the bandstand board" ?
    P.: Yes master!
    M.: And the "Players" board?
P.: Yes master, that one too!
    M. (hitting pupil with a stick): So you're wasting time in the Jazzguitar Forum instead of practicing, no wonder there its no progress...

    It's not a G7 capo if I position it at the third fret -- it's a Gmin11.
