If you had to choose only one amp for jazz, which one would be?

I’ve been using a Rivera Jazz Suprema pretty much exclusively for years.

Not saying that I could not be equally happy with other amps, but I simply never felt the need to look further.

Tweed Deluxe 5E3 clone... 'cuz it's what I have. I also have a Clarus 2r with a Raezer's Edge 12" cab; great sound, but I like the bit of distortion the 5E3 can provide. Plus setup, teardown and portability is better with a combo amp.

I laugh at you and your puny amps.
If I had to choose only one amp for jazz, it would be my Ampeg B12XT.

Princeton Reverb II with EVM-12L. Seemingly capable of being any amp you want. Big mids.

Depends on the guitar. Since I mainly play Strats and not archtops/hollow bodies I'm going to say a Super Reverb. I love me some 4x10s.

So far, Polytone MB II from the 80s.

Moving it not considered, my 64 super reverb is amazing.

That being said, I still vote polytone. Because, when a couple hundred dollar amp can hold its own against one of the holy grails, it’s a good day.

Polytone 102V, this amp makes shit gits sound GR8! I came into it late in life, it's a bummer that Polytone is gone.

    I like using my iPad.

Here’s a video I recorded yesterday with the iPad as my amp:

In a close second is my 1967 Ampeg Reverberocket II that was modded for different tubes before I got it.
