The scale is standard Gibson 24.75" but I guess you mean it's 'long neck' with the 19th fret neck joint instead of the 16th fret neck joint of the ES-330/Casino.

I slightly prefer the 16th fret neck joint over the 19th fret joint, but that's only because I am used to having restricted upper fret access on jazz guitars :-)

When I play my ES-333 (à la ES-335) it doesn't botter me at all.....

    Thanks!
    Concerning the Guilds:
the Franz pkups look like P90‘s but they’re different beasts!

Thank you Stefan....I was about to question the Guild Franz inclusions in the P-90 list too.

Guild's Franz pickups do resemble Gibson P-90's, but they're built and wound a little differently.
A Franz is brighter, articulate and not as thick in the mids. They also warm up easily with a tweak of the tone controls.

It couldn't be more obvious to me when comparing my '52 ES-150 and '53 X-100....(all other variables considered of course!).

No better or worse, the difference is appreciated and they both sound great to me.

No, I don't own one, but when fishing for an ES 330 I tried it in the Music Store here in Köln. I thought it's a fine guitar. It has the normal Gibson scale but the longer neck like a 335 with the transition round the 19th. I ended up with the Gibson 330 but sometimes I doubt if I made the best decision.
Why? I had to take the Gibson to a luthier to get rid of rattles from the switch and some cables and though I think the shorter neck is more comfortable to play in the lower register I sometimes miss the easy access to the upper frets.
If the lockdown lasts much longer I'll have to sell the Gibson anyway. ;-)

The Matsumoku slimline's (badged under many names) like my Aria 5102T are full hollow...and around 1973 utilized P90 style pickups of a non-standard dimension.

Love the ES-195! The one that got away.

Love Zizala's 1952 ES-150 in Ebony! I have a 1953 ES-150 with a cannibalised P90: the original was swapped out for a Lindy Fralin P90 by someone. It wzs sold by Gruhn Guitars to the person who then sold it to the dealer from whom I bought the ES-150.

    I have a 2006 Gibson ES-175SP. The SP stands for P90s.
