From another thread here, check out the neck pickup placement.

Look at the TOM placement and pickup spacing too. It’s a custom short scale.
Edit: custom, but not short scale.

Actually it’s not a short scale, but it’s definitely a Custom Gibson. That’s Leon Rhodes from Texas Playboys fame. He wanted a brighter sound from his neck pickup, much like a 24 fret placement of the neck pickup. And instead of tweaking the pickup they moved it back towards the bridge.
Leon was quite a great guitarist along with many other older well know country guitarists. Hank Garland, Thumbs Carlisle, Phil Baugh, Jimmy Bryant..

No, I'm pretty sure that picture is Roy Clark.

I think it's Leon Rhodes too, mainly because of the tailpiece on that guitar. For those who don't know who Rhodes was, he was a Nashville legend. He was in Ernest Tubbs' Texas Troubadors for many years and a regular in the house band at the Grand Ol' Opry. Rhodes worked with Gibson for a while to develop a signature semi, and that was the tailpiece on it. I've never seen one on any other guitar. Here's a pic of him with one of the prototypes -
I've never seen one with the pickup location on the red one in the OP's post - but it wouldn't surprise me if that was one of the mods he tried. AFAIK, Gibson never put a Leon Rhodes model into production.
He and Clark looked a lot alike, but IIRC their hairlines and styles were different.
definitely Rhodes:

Oh, it’s definitely Leon Rhodes. It’s from the Gatemouth Brown video in the other post. I took that other screenshot. Here you can see Leon and Roy in the same shot.
