I have purchased some off - white pearloid pg material to make one for my Fasan.
It's solid pearloid (which I prefer) as opposed to ply (eg W/B/W).
I've seen a couple of slightly different shapes - see attached pics. Would one be more 'vintage correct' than the other? 'Spur' by the neck or spur by the bracket? I'm not sure which I prefer. Spur by the bracket is a Hofner shape I believe.
I'm hoping to form the bracket out of the same pearloid material as per the pics. Thanks.

Mhmm, afaik, the people at Fasan have never been very consistent in their Designs, in contrast to others, e.g. their "neighbour" Josef Sandner (Isana). The site where You took at least on of the pics from actually shows Fasan guitars with both shapes. I would suggest to use the better looking one, or even better a PG that will leave more of the soundhole free (the PG has a detrimental effect on the sound, at least when it partially covers the f-hole).

Good point about covering the f hole but I like the traditional look and I'm not sure if a bespoke shape would suit the guitar.
I shall give some thought.
