Maybe this has been done before, but what the Hell!
Show us your "Beauty Queen".....the one you're entering into the Miss Universe guitar pagaent. Much like that contest, lets face it, shes needs to be a beauty above all else.
Heres a quick shot of mine to get the ball rolling. Its a 1980s Japanese made Emperor "F" in Tobacco Sunburst. For good measure i put the Japanese Epiphone Sheridan right next to it. There isnt a single thing, looks wise , that i would change about the Emperor.
What say you?

I’m a sucker for a beautiful back, and my Eastman Jazz Elite’s is truly seductive…

Hands down my 1990 Benedetto Cremona. It's my working guitar, has a few music stand and other minor dings. I play it on every gig it's suitable for. I am a blessed man!

My D'Angelico II New Yorker may be the most beautiful guitar I have ever seen.....

Beautiful guitars...gonna be hard to beat that DA..
I think my Heritage is quite photogenic. I love a darker burst.

It would be easier to choose my favorite child

Could be my Gibson Johnny A or my 1950 Eipihone Triumph. Depends how you look at it! Of course my L-4 CES is no slouch either!
Thanks John
PS: I like all of them.

Too many to choose from. LOL
Probably my Le Grand, but I have a Super 400 and new Les Paul that come close ...
Just got the Les Paul from the Gibson Garage Made to Measure shop a couple of weeks agoLast edited by Bluedawg; 12-07-2024 at 02:46 AM.

I’m going to try to stick with one. While there are others that I find incredibly beautiful, I think I’m going to go with this one on pure aesthetics. The woods are incredible (although not my personal favorite figuring pattern) and it was all just done so well.

Tortoiseshell binding is HAWT.

Ok, Like Marco I have the D'angelico ii Heritage Ghost Built. Hard to argue about the looks it sounds too. However, I will leave the final decision to the forum and besides it is the real deal 1949 New Yorker.

I opened the coffin of my rescue Tal and snapped a photo, not realizing my specter would haunt it. Beauty or kitsch - your call. This 2011 mint specimen might be up for sale within EU. Send me a PM if interested.

From every angle, this one-off Heritage H575 Custom takes my breath away each time I open its case.
And it plays and sounds just a beautifully as it looks.
