I thought the bridge pu sounded fuller, clearer, more dynamic with more sustain. That said, really wonder how it sounded in your room? I fear some is lost in all the digital rendering and the reproduced in my studio speakers but even then the neck pu sounded better.

From a physics standpoint, the vibrational arc is fuller with the neck pickup almost always. The arc is much smaller near the bridge. So you pick your sound. Old school electric players generally chose the neck pickup, probably because of the greater lows and fuller sound. But it's nice to have a choice.
