Hi,
I just got a nice ES-125 from 1956 which I found it locally at a good price. I just fell in love with the tone so it came home with me. The original celluloid pickguard is somewhat warped so I decided to take it off. I'm liking the look so far but. The guitar needs a refret as the frets are pretty worn out. Now the frets are so narrow and short that they almost look like mandolin wire to me. I'll be having it refreted with 6105 narrow tall frets. Here is a picture of my guitar

At the end of the 1980s I was in the USA and I could have bought such a guitar for $500... I regret it very much.

Nice find! I had a 125 for years and just traded it for a 125T this summer for the ergonomics of playing standing up. The regular 125 like yours is such a cool guitar though. What amp will you pair it with?
How did you choose to observe this special day?
