New guitar for Wes?

Was looking at Wes records and saw this on the back of the cannonball poll winners record with Ray Brown. He’s pictured on the back playing a guitar I thought was his P90 L5 but I’ve never seen this one before. It looks like it has a charlie Christian pickup? Maybe it’s a L5 with a CC but what else could it be? Custom order? The pickup switch looks like it’s in a weird spot too.

I think that's a modified L-7 he borrowed from Kenny Burrell.

Could be? I can’t tell if it has a cutaway or not. Aren’t those usually single pickup? I guess that would be a modification lol

KB also owned a custom L-5 with the CC p/u. Here he is pictured with it for a Gibson ad.

There's also this one which we've discussed before but don't know exactly what it is.
Probably a custom L-5 w extra deep cutaway and 2 extra frets, Oettinger t.p.
Looks like the neck p.u. was swapped at one point, maybe twice.

That written interview with Kenny was a treat treat to read.
I love the part about the octaves. It really takes you back and puts you in the mind of the legendary Wes. That was really great stuff.
