Who's Your Favorite Bass Player?
Yeah, I think I measured about 20mm under the 1st string (down to the top) just in front of the bridge. I'd thought that I could measure there, tweak the trussrod and then lower the saddle to keep...
Sir, this is too many of the bars... I'm going to need you to go back and edit out anything about bars 5 through 32. Kidding, but I am glad to hear I'll get Back Home Again in Indiana out of this...
I used to have one of those 2355’s (Ibanez badged) back at college/Uni. They are solid guitars with bags of mojo. My passion for archtops really kicked off after buying one. Cheap, fun and look the...
Probably your best bet today is to do a deep dive into what Roland is offering for guitar synthesizers- they have several. They seem to track well, and the latest ones work with any conventional...
Looks like you have a substantial height on your bridge and therefore a good break angle. My 700 looks a lot less than that. I have been contemplating a neck reset.

Did you find what you were looking for. I have a Jimmy Bruno I may be selling. Thanks.
Would guess the Gretsch to be on the twangy side. Acoustic amp will just replicate. Small venue so you probably heard your tone well enough. Might try the ES175 and run an amp/speaker model with...
I hear a marked difference in hitting the fourth string all by itself vs. hitting only the fourth string but fretting the other two notes in the "shell." To my ear, if tempo allows, fretting 3 notes...
Eventually I would drop the 6th string stuff... but I had 3 rehearsals and zero experience in this style before the gig. I tried to fret it, but not hit it, but that was a low concern as I was more...
Massive difference in sound between the two to my ears, mainly the difference in laminate and carved. I have used the Bravo and L5 through all different amps, my Carr, DV Mark little jazz, Fender...
