When I copy a Youtube link into my post...

When I copy a youtube link into my post, it sometime embedded, sometimes just the link text appears in the post. I use alwas the very same method, click on youtube "share", the copy the link...

What cause the difference?

I just cut and paste the link in the address bar and it works good.

I never could make it remain in clickable link form, to share a video for those watching on a computer's screen who would prefer it over the embedded form.

Use the advanced post editor, click on the "Insert Video" icon, and paste the URL of the video in the dialog box that pops up. Done. To enable that, click on Settings in the top right corner, on the left scroll down to General Settings, and scroll waaayyy down to Miscellaneous Options. Tick the first box, 'Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing'. This will give you two rows of icons at the top of the message box, which are very useful.

...meanwhile I realized, if I use my ipad, to post then it is a link, if I use my desktop Windows and Chrome that will be an embedded video... puzzler.
