Shipping is risky. Proper packing is a key factor If you don't have the original packing (box and interior) that belongs to your specific amp model, you will struggle to come up with something that will reduce damage risk to "acceptable".
Equally Important is selecting the shipping service that is the correct balance between reliable and affordable. It helps if the potential buyer selects the company and the shipping service. The buyer have to accept the risks that go with shipping. Lost in transfer or damage.
Also, buyer has to be aware of any import duties and tax on his/her side. BTW it must be a very special amp if the buyer can not get it at his side of the world.

When shipping an amp it is paramount that you have enough shock-absorbing protection around it, regardless of the destination. Styrofoam is your best bet.
The weight is the deciding factor re the cost. I've had amps shipped from the US several times without any problems, using USPS and the cost was reasonable.
