.....a few hours. I knew when Mr. Hubris showed up, that thread wouldn't last long. But it didnt exactly take Kreskin to figure that out.

    No idea what either mean.

Maybe Mr. Hubris can tell us and with all the certainty, conviction and insight he has conveyed on politics.

    Interesting.

Perhaps it's true that for one to demonstrate such a repetitive fixated obsession, one must hold a similar sentiment about oneself.

Gents - It seems pretty clear that the site owner would prefer a cessation of divisive political talk.

TDS may be treatable. And losing all the negative emotion that comes with TDS may allow one to obtain better results in one's jazz guitar journey.

"Sic transit gloria mundi" means "Thus passeth the glory of the world". I thought maybe monday was a tad too obvious (Though it was close, pace Rabbit, so I went with wednesday, which I thought fit the timeline better, though I might have misunderestimated the complexities of the news cycle. Just riffin'.

I hope so. I have a lot of musicians in my Facebook feed and TDS seems to be a pandemic among that crowd.....

Missing a partisan thread about politics on a jazz guitar forum is probably a good thing. Consider yourself lucky. For those of us who do see them, it is like seeing a tabloid headline. It is hard to scroll past them and at times, participation in the insanity somehow seems absurdly....fun

In the spirit of sharing, I offer you my ode to the C-virus, which I posted way back in the dark ages on March on Facebook. I did not copy this from anyone, and I expect that none of you will publish this under your own name and make a million $$$.

    Duh-dadadadah Duh-dadadadah
    Duh-dadadadah My Corona!

Ooh, my little germy one, my germy one
When you gonna give me some slime, Corona...
Ooh, you make my heart rate run, my heart rate run
Got it drinking from my glass of wine, Corona

Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty bug
I always get choked up with a touch of the flu or crud

    My, my, my, aye-aye, whoa!
    M-m-m-my Corona!

Come a little closer, huh, a-will ya, huh?
Close enough to purple my toes, Corona
Keepin' it a mystery, it gets to me
Runnin' down the length of my nose, Corona

Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty bug
I always sneeze and cough with a touch of the flu or crud

    My, my, my, aye-aye, whoa!
    M-m-m-my Corona!
    M-m-m-my Corona!

When you gonna give to me, a gift to me
Is it just a matter of time, Corona?
    Is it d-d-destiny, d-destiny
Or is it just a media hoax, Corona?

Never gonna stop, give it up, such a dirty bug
I always get hypoxic with a touch of the flu or crud

    My, my, my, aye-aye, whoa!
    My, my, my, aye-aye, whoa!
    Mmmmmy Corona!
    Mmmmmy Corona!

    Awesome guitar solo...

Well the "cure" I'm hoping for is that Trump is defeated. But that might not help those with a really bad case of TDS.

E.g. people that want the 2020 Congress to open investigations about how the Trump admin operated.

I suspect Biden will win and that TDS will still linger in many sufferers for quite some time.
