Lighten up and learn to dance.
-
I hate dancing. The word even bothers me.
-
There you go! Learn to love dancing and you won't be mad at rhythm any more.

I’m a terrible dancer but you have to put rhythm in your body. Tap it out, walk a pulse and speak it out loud, tap feet and clap the rhythm. Whatever.
-
If you're mad at rhythm you clearly haven't spent enough time learning Freddie Green style guitar.

As a kid, I struggled with math. When I graduated from US elementary school*, my teachers recommended me for the honors math program in high school. This was a shock to me, given my struggles, but I figured "what the hell, give it a try - you can always go back to the regular classes if it doesn't work out."
My high school honors math teacher was far and away a better math teacher than I had ever had. He could abstract - explain WHY you "carry the two" and so forth. Very quickly, I got GOOD at math, became an A student, and found myself LIKING math. I wound up taking Calculus in high school and testing out of the math requirement in college.
So... maybe you hate dancing because you've never learned how to dance, or never had a good dance teacher.
Learning to dance could improve both your musicianship and your social life. There is literally no easier way to meet women.
Just a thought. You don't have to like it or do it :-)
*Roughly age 6-13; student body and classwork groupings vary by country and school system

Nah, it ain't so bad..........
Look at it this way, like this guy.....
You don't have to dance, you don't have to sing or make any music if you don't want to..
Just be that guy in charge and let those morons know you're through with them.
All you have to do is point and show those idiots the door ! Then put your feet on the desk, and have a cigar - don't forget the cigar - you've earned it ! : )

You can be mad at dancing, but don't be mad at rhythm. It didn't do anything to you.

^ I became un-mad at rhythm. The polyrhythmic feel was the ticket.

Having the nazi click on every beat and nothing else really straightens out your time. I've never done this before, it's helping.

Still mad at rhythm. :P

get off the pot and get the vibes :)
on the nome: turn the f'n thing down to about 60 or 80 to find out how much you really suck. Work on subdivision at that kind of tempo for a year or two and you won't be mad at rhythm any more.
You might even be able to dance!

I finished my practice of Celia at 120 bpm. I'm very mad at rhythm.
