However, you may still care to share...?

This topic isn't really doing it for me. How about, 'What is the wifey wearing right now?' :P

I'm wearing the same thing I wore 50 years ago--cordoroys, a button down Oxford shirt, and a paisley tie.

No penny loafers though. I go for Rockports now.

If you remember Onslow from "Keeping up appearences" you have a pretty good idea of my attire when writing this.

Route 66 T shirt. Sweat pants. Tore up shoes that reek and should have been tossed a long time ago.

If you wore that maga hat here in San Francisco, that 357 magnum might come in handy......

Well, it was only a joke but I can imagine so. Someone gave me a maga hat once but they are ugly and I don't vote so I put trash in it's place. I look better in purple and at this stage I'd rather 22 shots of 9mm than six shots of 357, lol.

Well, here in California, a firearm that holds more than 10 rounds is illegal. I keep .38's in my .357 because, quite frankly, I am a better shot with the .38's. But when I am hiking in Grizzly country, my long barreled S&W is loaded with .357 rounds. A .38 might not do the job.

I lean right of center (just slightly) and the MAGA folks scare me just as much as the "Democratic Socialists". In my view, those groups both hold views that are simply un-American. If you don't vote, you will not get called to do jury duty. Finding ways to avoid jury duty keeps your brain sharp.

Shoot 357's with no ear protection and you realize why .38+P's are probably the better choice for SD. My ears were ringing for a couple days. That's why I kinda like a .44 special revolver, a lot less muzzle blast, but the SD ammo is through the roof money. I have some hornady xtp's I could load up but that's work and I got tired of handloading stuff. I mostly just shoot lead out of it and I have plenty of that.

I've never seen a politician worth voting for. I've never voted or even registered to vote but they still summoned me to jury duty. I would rather do the jail time with rank and file criminals than I would sit with overpaid criminals running the courts so I always skip jury duty. I think that is my favorite part of civics, refusing to be a participant in it.

I got two songs left to track, I actually need to finish writing them lol , but then I'll have a 10 song CD of all original material. After that I think I'm headed into a studio for vocals and mixing just cause they will have a good mic selection there. So I been asking around about opinions on people who do good mixing. Everyone has their own opinions but I have a short list of names as of now. How about you, when you are putting out your first jazz record? I think it would do you good to have that now that you are gigging regularly. It'll probably open some more doors for you.

I want to write a few more songs, but my 2025 goal is to make a recording. Spotify and CD's I think. Something to put next to the tip jar at gigs and also to mail out to Jazz Stations per Henry Robbinet's suggestion.

I think I'll do half quartet and half trio. Cutting out the drums and going acoustic for the trio. Lots of brainstorming right now.
