OK, you have one week to spend in the jazz destination of your choice. You want to take in gigs, jams and lessons from the best. Where do you go and why?

New Orleans, without question.
Ok, let me ammend that slightly. New Orleans for a jazz vacation, NYC for a jazz business trip.

Kansas City and Harlem in the late 40’s. Unbelievable time.
Oh you mean now.
New York, New Orleans.

Also, New Orleans—no doubts about it, such an incredible place! I’d also love to visit Kenya one day. I know that we can apply for a visa online https://keny?-visa.co.uk/, so that part is sorted. Luckily, flight tickets aren’t too expensive, which makes planning even more exciting. I’ve already looked into some decent hotels, so accommodations won’t be an issue either. Now, all that’s left is deciding when we actually want to go! With so many amazing places to explore, from safaris to beautiful coastal spots, I just need to figure out the best time of year to experience it all at its finest

New York, because everywhere I go it just breathes swing and a sense of adventure. It's always looking forward and every night you can find and hang with the people who are at the crest of the wave. You can discover the music as everyone in the room, including the musicians, are discovering it. I get q deeper infusion of energy and swing in one afternoon in Washington Square park than I did during 4 years at a jazz music school.
If I could go back in time, I'd go to Toronto and listen to Ed Bikert every opportunity I could and live in that scene.
What's the scene in Toronto like these days? I think Andrew Marzotto was based there at some point.

Anyone been to Indonesia? Did you like it there? I’ve heard so many mixed reviews—some say it’s paradise, others mention it can be tricky if you’re not used to the culture. I’m thinking about traveling there for a few weeks and just want to be prepared. Also, does Ria Money Transfer work reliably there in case you need to send or receive money quickly? Would be great to know before I finalize anything. Any tips or personal experiences would be really appreciated
