I'll give the first few bars a go if I can bring it forward in the mix more.

I was joking about how belligerent it is. There seem to be some reasonable lines in there tho.

Who was it that said he looked forward to future works of greater length ?

    There's also a strong suspicion that it's a rip-off:

El Hombre que Sabia (The Man Who Knew), by John McLaughlin.

Not as blisteringly fast as the old days, so maybe reachable? Who knows.

The strange thing about this lovey tune i,s that I did not find it in any Real Book, nor a lead sheet on the internet.

The video is not available in my country. Can you tell me the title and performer?

The song is called: Until Tonight and is played by Ben Webster, from the album: Music For Loving, ? 1955 UMG Recordings, Inc.
NB. Ben has recorded this song twice, but I am interested in the above version. If you can not find YouTube in your country, you might hopefully find it on another platform.

The song is from a 1949 show called ‘A La Carte’ by Heyman and Young, but it doesn’t seem to have become a standard, so the music is probably hard to find.

I have the first 12 bars more or less done. I just have to write them up.

Unfortunately I only have time if I wake up before anyone else or after everyone's gone to bed.

I'll have more time next week for sure.
