    Here is interesting idea for composing and why not solo playing too. By mixing together chords from major and minor key families in the same passage we create surprising tonal colors.

    In a key of D major we have:
    D, Em, F#m, G, A, Bm & C#m7b5
    In a key of D minor we have:
    Dm, Em7b5, F, Gm, Am or A7, Bb & C.
