This was a school composition assignment I completed several years ago. Assignment: write a new melody for the changes to "Lady Be Good", limiting the range of the new melody to a perfect fourth.
I'm playing guitar - there's a brief solo - and cornet.

The way you offset your eighths for the melody really pushes it forward, love it.
And for someone who calls themselves "BickertRules", you sure do sound a hell of a lot like George Barnes. You don't hear many guitarists doing that now-a-days, eh?
Cool stuff indeed

Thanks - I love George Barnes.

I like it! Monkish chromatics, with an old school swing feel.
