In one of Jimmy Brunos's videos where he discusses Jazz Blues, at one point he says "any turnaround to ii", and at another point "any turnaround to I".
It would be great to have a resource for various common turnarounds so I could try plugging them in.
    Any suggestions appreciated.

One of my favorites is a book/DVD by Robert Conti called "Intros, Endings, and Turnarounds".

Lots of nice jazz chords and progressions!

    Cycle to ii

    Cycle to I

    (cycle of 4ths)

    IV vii iii vi -ii-

    iii vi ii V -I-

also, cycle to the IV in a blues.

    vi ii V I -IV-

    hope that helps.

Might as well note that turnarounds are turnarounds. There's no specifically "blues" turnaround.

    chromatic runs work well...

    G7

    Bb13 Bb7/Ab A13 A7/G Ab13 G7

works nice going into the IV7 chord ..

    (Bmi7--half beat pick-up chord)) C9.....Db9 C9...Bb13..G13

F9..D9..Eb9..C9..use some syncopation with this kind of stuff

    Bb13 A13 Ab13 G7(9 13)

mix some of this stuff up with inversions of the chords ..try and find some nice voice leading into the target chord..

I know it's probably common knowledge for most of you, but for me it's really helpful.
    Thanks to all...
