I thought I would see a Mr. Beaumont thread here for the holidays.
Hmm.

Ugh, trying to remember a few that I have arranged...don't want to devote a whole thread to that, though
I'm still going through my "Autumn of Solo Guitar" but I've unfortunately been really busy. I've had time to play, but little to sit and record...and now it's basketball season, so my busy just got busier!

My trio played Christmastime Is Here on Friday. But it didn’t get recorded.
I have 4 gigs in December so I’ll get it on one of them.

Hope to see some others.
Happy Holidays to all.
PS - EDIT: Thanks to ragman1 for explaining how to embed the SoundCloud player.Last edited by swampguide; 12-20-2024 at 05:12 PM.

Like Pawlowki said, really good playing and arrangement of First Noel. What else do you got?

Thanks for the comments! I did my own arrangement. It took me a couple of weeks to work out and record. The second chorus was harder as there is more movement/notes (maybe too busy?). For the past few years I've been trying to do one every year for Christmas. Below is a link to the one I did last year.
Cheers!Last edited by swampguide; 12-20-2024 at 05:05 PM.

Here’s an original demo I made. Dropbox

Here is one I recorded Christmas past. I usually try and dust off a tune every season but ran out of time his year. I have been listening though….Sirius XM has a good Holiday jazz channel.

With my 11 year old grandniece, we did this yesterday.

I can’t hear this as 3/4. What’s up with that?

Merry Christmas!
