Best Brush For Guitar Finishing

I want to use a hand brush using nitrocellulose guitar paint. My question is:

What type of 'hair' on the brush would produce the best finish?

I have a very expensive set of badger hair brushes that I used for brushing lacquer. This was a long time ago so there are likely some equivalent synthetic brushes available today. Here's some examples :
