Is it possible to wire a Humbucker and a regular Tele Bridge pickup using a 4 way switch ? Im trying to get both series and parallel wiring on the neck pickup, both pickups together and lead single coil Tele.
Yep. I did that with Dimarzio Area Ts and with Wilde L280TN, both stacked humbuckers. No reason PAF style won't work. If there is a pick up cover it needs to be grounded separately. The diagrams ought to make things pretty clear.
although with a Dimarzio Area T (with cover) and then a Wilde L280TN (no cover). Haven't done it with a PAF style bucker, but I don't see why it wouldn't work with a 4 wire conductor. You might need to ground the cover.
One other ? Since I'm using both a Humbucker and a Single Coil what ohm pots should be used? I've seen diagrams with both 500k a d 250K as well as a mix.
Not sure which to go with?
Perhaps you could use 500k/250k dual ganged pots. I have a Strat with PAF buckers in the middle and bridge, SC in the neck and wired it so that there is a 250/500k volume pot, 250k tone pot for the neck and 500k tone for the buckers. I used one side of the switch as the 250k side and the other side for the 500k side- no jumper between the common terminals on the switch.
I have been very pleased. I use both channels, one for vocals the other for guitar (usually a 36 L-5 or a Holo gypsy jazz guitar). For the guitars I am using either an ischell contact mic, AT 831b,...
The sad fact is that most of the guitars that are 30+ years old are starting to show signs of aging. Sinking tops, loose bracing, neck twists, fingerboard tail rises, etc... Some of these can be...
No bleed because your amp will be in the way :) It is also a unidirectional mic.
Rather than a Tone Master I’d opt for a real tube amp. A Headstrong Lil King would cover all your bases. Personally...
Or even travelling with them, if you can't do all the handling yourself. My contact at Dowina experienced that when they went to the last NAMM and found most of their instruments broken upon...
I'm also looking for a thinline full hollowbody with floating bridge, and the Guild T 50 with the Dynasonics has my interest. There's also the Starfire 3 Special with the Dynasonics (30 only run on...
The guitar isn't an easy instrument to get right digitally, played from a keyboard. Any good software guitar instrument requires deft handling of the expression wheel.
I have found pretty good...
mine is a 2012/2013, i did a video about it.

The mic idea sounds good, but with the drummer right behind me, wondering how much of that...
The two mechanisms of guitar damage in shipping are crushing and angular deceleration. I've experienced both.
Crushing usually affects the body. The case is most compressible over the center of...
In addition to the two channels, I like that Bud 6 has a preamp gain control (Blue does not). By turning it all the way up, you get a more saturated tone. It is not exactly tube-like, but you can't...
More body sounds appealing to me: the slightly slimmer Emperor already sounds thinner than the Zephyr. I have very little experience with pickups, jazz humbucker or otherwise, having come from a...
