Is it possible to wire a Humbucker and a regular Tele Bridge pickup using a 4 way switch ? Im trying to get both series and parallel wiring on the neck pickup, both pickups together and lead single coil Tele.
Yep. I did that with Dimarzio Area Ts and with Wilde L280TN, both stacked humbuckers. No reason PAF style won't work. If there is a pick up cover it needs to be grounded separately. The diagrams ought to make things pretty clear.
although with a Dimarzio Area T (with cover) and then a Wilde L280TN (no cover). Haven't done it with a PAF style bucker, but I don't see why it wouldn't work with a 4 wire conductor. You might need to ground the cover.
One other ? Since I'm using both a Humbucker and a Single Coil what ohm pots should be used? I've seen diagrams with both 500k a d 250K as well as a mix.
Not sure which to go with?
Perhaps you could use 500k/250k dual ganged pots. I have a Strat with PAF buckers in the middle and bridge, SC in the neck and wired it so that there is a 250/500k volume pot, 250k tone pot for the neck and 500k tone for the buckers. I used one side of the switch as the 250k side and the other side for the 500k side- no jumper between the common terminals on the switch.
JM touching perfection..and great amp/effects..

You can't determine how it sounds out in the audience from how it sounds to you playing on stage. If you adjust so it it sounds perfect to you on stage, the audience is likely being punished with...
Yes, the first recordings of many of those Carmichael compositions were released as instrumentals. If such instrumental recordings sold well, in order to increase royalties, lyrics would be added...
Thanks, Stan!
Unfortunately, this all came late in life. I actually started the project in 2007 but had to wait until 2016 for the first decent guitar micro-amps to be available in Europe. Today,...
For me, the most enduring one I still love to play after all these years is Stella By Starlight. But lately I Pannonica is up there. But as usual,. I play it medium. Stella too! LOL.
Great recording! That instrument sounds wonderful. I love the rich acoustic voice, and you use it to perfection.
I’m still getting accustomed to the contrasting appearance of the compliant rim...
Sorry I took so long. Crazy week. Anyway, I purchased an Autumnburst Bravo Deluxe from Bob's Boutique in the Spring of 2019. Flawlessly constructed, effortless to play and beautiful to look at. ...
Do you play with other musicians? I ask because, at least for me, if there is no one playing the root notes, I tend to use more root-based chord voicings. E.g. two guitar players and thus I'm...
