    Hello there friends!!

A Brazilian luthier (João Cassias) is building an archtop inspired by Gibson L5/ES150 models for me.
It's almost done and I would like to share some photos from the process.
The pickup is a CC neck floating from Pete Biltoft.

Here you can find more from his work:

I have a one of Pete's floating CC style pickups on one of my guitars. A great sounding pickup!
The guitar looks wonderful. Would love to hear it when it's finished.

I will "3rd" the kudos for Pete's pick up. I have one on my archtop and I am very very pleased with it.

Also, what a lovely looking guitar. I like the shape of the body, the shape of the headstock and especially the finish. Looking forward to seeing the end result and hearing it!

Very nice sunburst! And the headstock!

Different guitars need different pickups but You start from the top!

If she will sound the way she looks it's gonna be a great guitar!

Enjoy it when it's done and don't forget to post a soundclip!

Hey thanks for the pickup feedback. I'm very anxious to see how it'll work with the guitar. I heard some great tones with it, but never listened to it "live".

I think in one month it'll be done, I'm really looking forward to hear it.

For sure I'll post some videos.

I recorded these audios just to have an idea of the tone. I'm using a SM57 close to F hole to acoustic and the Bugera V5 + Jr. Barnyard with SM57.

Hello there, here is a video with the guitar.
For the melody I'm using a Jr. Barnyard pedal + Bugera V5 and for rhythm only the mic SM57.
