Thanks for listening! As we do more gigs the trio stuff gets easier. I started taking breaths, like, pausing for 2 bars, adding some chord hits to my solos helps me regroup too. Where am I in the form where are we going. Lastly, sometimes you just forget if you are coming up to the bridge or not on an AABA and I've found just loudly declaring that the bridge is happening with some passing chords helps.

Like going into the bridge on A-Train, just walk up with a two bar turnaround Db6/9 D6/9 Eb6/9 E6/9 right into F. Going outside in the harmony gets the bassists attention and then boom, back on track.

Unfortunately, it's not my video. The venue owner recorded it using Facebook Live so there is no file for him to share with me to post on YouTube.

But, it works without a Facebook account.
