I’ve always found jazztone’s click pretty loudly. d’andrea pro plec or the rounded side of a fender heavy are the quietest in my experience.

I would try to darken up the tone or stop picking over the pickup.

Dunlop JazzTone 204 or pick one with the tip you like, D'Andrea picks, Primetone, and BlueChip picks. These would be my suggestions.
