I use low-tack painter's tape to mark the bridge. I don't tape it down, I just put a strip of tape alongside the base, on each side, and the bridge...

In my experience the ES-175 is a remarkably versatile tone machine. Good enough for Jimmy Nolen, Joe Pass, and Steve Howe; good enough for me. :cool:
