Yesterday afternoon I did get my dream guitar ... I'd like to thank all that gave me their comments and advice.

I'll keep the ES 300 as well ...

Just some blowing over ATTYA added.

Awesome playing and sound. Despite what you say, I have a feeling there's going to be an ES-300 for sale in Europe in the near future. Maybe replace it with a non-cut carved top.

It is not expensive at all. Time and love are the only expensive things in everyone’s life.

Yeah. I don't know what the situation is the US (about 2 % on savings?) but over here interest on savings is 0.01 % and sometimes even negative interest is predicted for the future, meaning maybe we are heading towards having to PAY to put money in the bank.

So a vintage guitar just maybe a better investment than having its worth in money in the bank.

Of course I am finding all kinds of reasons to justify this purchase haha but ... I think I have a point.

    Congratulations Dick,
We are all pleased for you, the best of both worlds, keeping both .
You will not regret it, better than money in the Bank .
by the way , ATTYA sounded great on the 350, & painfully obvious
that you are a Tal., Jimmy Raney ,& Doug devotee, Bebop geniuses.

May the 300 & 350 give you many years of enjoyment and playing
    best regards

    Dear Dick,

I am glad for you and for this guitar. She has found a good home and you have the guitar your playing deserves.

And keeping both was a right thing to do!

All the best for your music to come.
