It's all kopasetic to this lane. I'm off the cob but the riff is there. I copped some legal tea so I might dabble.
    Or get a job. IDK.

this kind of stuff is everywhere - i speak it as if it were just ordinary english (at least when i bump into other humans) - but it does you no good at parties
"Are you interested in back door progressions?" could come across as a rather questionable pick up line at a party.

Technobabble or not, you're free to say what you will. It's just some antics.

As if jazz guitar is the be-all and the end-all? I think you're putting Des Cartes in front of the horse here.

Well around here it's only a transient phenomenon.
I will confess, when I know there's a gig where there'll be a preponderance of pseudo intellectuals that are there just to show off their technobabble chops, I make it a point to Schopenhauer late.

I think some of it is quite witty.
    Perhaps you've created a Wittgenstein's monster.

It's still too soon to say, but I suspect that 'Descartes before the horse' may prove to have the most humorous effect on Derrida.

    Yup, that's it:
"Gignet" = 1. a net for catching (securing) gigs. 2. A part of the internet dedicated to gigs.
"Gignetter" = 1. Someone catching a gig. 2. A subscriber to the gignet [qv].
"Gignetic" = behaving (or feeling) like a gignetter [qv].

IMHO this is the best possible outcome of this thread.

I have to admit I originally clicked through the thread because I thought it was about jazz mixed with techno

Charlie Parker penned a lot of tunes. Some are played constantly and have become part of the cannon for their universality. He wrote a piece that was never really played. Written in the key of A, it actually starts on B minor.
Nobody ever calls Ontology at a jam. Players tend to avoid that problematic II B issue.

This is getting out of Kantrol, we should get back to talking about jazz.

Christian's Popper warned him not to start this thread - now it's too late to save his Bacon.
