lets start in 2nd position. pick a fingering "set". for instance, start with just the 4th finger. play up then down a one octave arpeggio for a Amaj7, then go up/down the next octave (completing the entire 2nd position). now do up/down the entire 3 octave position. repeat the process only starting from the highest note and coming down/up, next octave, etc...
i then suggest finding in the same position the dom7, then min7, then min7b5.
then start going up maj7, down dom7...up dom7, down min7...etc.
