 Extending a Bass riff Just recently my son came up with a bass riff and an idea for a guitar melody over the top. He keeps asking me how he can extend it and I keep saying to him that he needs to work it out for himself. He's in a 3 piece rock band with guitar, bass and drums. They are just starting to write their own material. I showed him how to put it up a fourth and change the melody (we did this together in Sibelius). Has anyone got any other ideas about what I can suggest to him? I will still post this question but I was hoping I could attach a PDF file to this post, as the question is a bit meaningless without it. Can anyone tell me how to do that?     |
