Hey 007,
I put together an article a while back with some of the exercises that have really helped me and my students with reading over the years, check it out if you like.

Jazz Guitar Sight Reading Skills | MattWarnockGuitar.com

not the be all and end all, but some good and fun exercises to develop reading skills with melodies, chords and improvising.

Reading Studies Vol I + II. and "Melodic Rhythms." 3 books that will leave you in good shape, IMHO. Leavitt (Berklee).

Keep it real....

Read the Real Books, 1 2 & 3

Then the New Real Books 1 2 & 3

Then any other fake books you have.

That should be thousands of tunes to read.
